EXAMPLES OF GAMES AND EXERCISES

Through years of teaching both individual and group lessons, I have often felt the need to explore additional ways of teaching and to create new opportunities for children to learn.

Using educational games alongside learning repertoire has always been popular. Whenever I need fresh inspiration, regain focus or help students develop specific skills, I use exercises hidden in games.

Seeing students leave their lessons with a smile on their faces is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

In my books, Lek for livet and Feleleken, you will find many more games - games for individual students and groups, designed to develop listening skills, memory, concentration, coordination and social skills.

In my books, you will also find plenty of dances with rhythms, singing games, action songs, and other activities that bring movement and music into the learning process.

I have collected these games from many different sources: colleagues, neighbours, students, and, sometimes, they simply appeared out of nowhere.
